Wow - It has really been a long time dear beautiful people! I've cleaned up the blog space here, and saved every entry. There will soon be a link to all the old postings just for fun. I kept avoiding the daunting task of updating the site, but September has so many birthdays in it that I couldn't resist. I'm sure you know what family news I have, so I'm not a good source - but here goes my best:

Matt and Jessica had a son - Welcome to the world, Ayden David Downey!
That means that Uncle Nick is a grandfather. How does it feel?
Sadie and Erin are both engaged and will have their weddings in summer/fall 2008.
Nell took the New York State Bar Exam and felt good about it.
Jill took the Georgia State Bar Exam and felt just as successful.
Nell and Eric will move from California to New York in summer 2008.
Diana is back in the D.C. area and is hot on the world music scene.
David is returning from a week in the islands with Kevin.
John, Michelle and the Rumrats are living it up in the Southland.
John and Cindy are treating them to a fine experience in Georgia.
Anne painted the inside of John George's house.
Uncle Paul got a set of Scottish bag pipes (& Nancy has a good set of ear plugs).
Uncle Nick is holding down the Big House and working harder than ever.
Dan comes by with lunch for Grandmother most days.
Sara drives to Corry a lot of the weekends. Phil is doing his service on Walter Reed's Ward 54.
Geoffrey is designing for the future.
Tom keeps on Truckin'.
And finally...

Dustin is somewhere in the desert outside of Las Vegas doing Yoga in his speedo, straw cowboy hat and little else.
